We did some Halloween Yoga on the rainy Halloween :)

Celebration

Today we celebrated filling our bucket with a special story and "tattoo" from Mr. Antonicci!

Sight Words

We are learning sight words in Room 3! We are learning to read and write the words: the, I, see 
Today our kindergartners went on a "word hunt" for those words. When they found them we put a check mark on the word card! These are some pretty brilliant Kindergartners we have in Room 3!

Fire Safety Visit

Yesterday the Colchester Volunteer Fire Department visited our classroom to talk about fire safety!

Math Sorts

Today we explored attributes by sorting different collections in math. Kids chose different ways to sort objects (size, color, shape, etc.)

Mystery Science

Today we joined room 4 to watch Mystery Doug! We learned about why come people speak with accents.

You may have noticed alphabet papers coming home. We've been working hard on our alphabet sounds. Ask your child to read the story on the sheet to you! Make sure they point to each word!

We continued out Kindness unit with a lesson on acts of kindness, at home, in school, and in the community.
